Hush, Hush - Becca Fitzpatrick Possible spoilers ahead. I was after this book since more than a year and let's just say that I expected a bit more. The first half of the book was really slow and the end was predictable. I had to read the prologue several times to get what was happening. The story of the angels was lacking in information. The characters are also mediocre. Vee is the most irritating of them all, Nora is boring and uninteresting, Patch is a jerk. I don't get why he's attracted to Nora and vice versa. He threatened her several times and the fact that he was planning on killing her since the beginning was confusing and unnecessary. I feel a little sorry for Nora as she didn't deserve anything that happened to her. It's like she wasn't the real problem; just a wall blocking the bad guy's path to get to Patch. Overall, it was an ok read but it's definitely not something I'll read several times. One time is more than enough.
